Patricia McDonald, MSN, ANP, FNP

“I have opportunities everyday to help.“

I have always wanted to make women’s health care a comfortable and safe experience. I have a depth of empathy for those dealing with menopause, but mood anxiety and depression is something I feel is important to recognize and discuss. I believe in a science-based approach but want to work collaboratively with my patients in providing care that exceeds your expectations.

I have lived in Alaska since 1977 and found Alaska to be my pot of gold at the end of the rainbow! Working in the community all this time has allowed me the opportunity to mentor the next generation of Nurse Practitioners. I actively support alumni groups at both Alaska Pacific University as well as University Alaska Anchorage.

I will be retiring at the end of December 2018 to spend more time with my grandchildren.  Thank you for all the wonderful years serving such wonderful patients.
